General information;
The car is in excellent all round condition, the bodywork and paint is very good and the interior is original and in superb condition. And features a Momo steering wheel with adjustable OMP boss, It has full service history and if still going to be used as a road car has HID headlight conversion, and Parrot handsfree kit, CD player and has impeccable road manners for such a powerful car. It also has an excellent alarm/immobiliser.
When the car was converted to V8 it also had a lot of general maintenance work carried out too such as new wheel bearings, bushes etc.
The car is currently used as a road/track day car and is brilliant at both giving excellent track and road performance. It can push along with the very best on track days and is equally good in 6th gear on the motorway doing 80 or 90 quietly with traffic – it really is the best of both worlds.
With 440bhp at the wheels, no traction control and only a LSD to help, it is incredibly fast and needs full respect at all times – but it gives so much feedback and handles so well it can really be pushed on the road too.
A very small amount of work (like taking interior out) would turn this into a very fast and capable race car for many of the new series springing up.
At less the £20k this is a very well put together, refined but inexpensive 500bhp.
The car cost over £30,000 to build and only a change in circumstances has made this sale possible – this a £10k saving over what it would cost to build this car, so please – no silly offers as a blunt refusal can offend.
The car will do 174mph on current gearing – verified several times through timing lights at Woodbridge airfield and will comfortably run low 11 second ¼ miles @ Avon park.
£19,500 ovno or possible PX.
