Phil, Co owner of Driftworks wanted something that could be used on track that was light and had big power. The S65 block from an e92 M3 with a DCT gear box was transplanted. This car started life as one of six bomb squad cars for the Police in the UK. This sleeper has retained the sirens and features from when it was a bomb squad car but now it has the running gear from a HSV holden.
This customer has the top end of his Cayman rebuilt. Shortly after the rebuild the engine failed again. The customer decided he wanted to go down the road of an LS conversion. This was the first LS Cayman in Europe that we know of.
LS3 with a Porsche G50 gear box was fitted to an LS3 so the power finally matched the looks. At the bottom of this post there is a detailed video covering the build of this car.
Craig, Owner of Dynotorque wanted a new daily driver that he could fit his kids into after the RX7 so he set out fitting an LSX with the subframe from an E92 M3 into an RX8. This is considered a perfect combination or blasphemy depending on who you ask. Dynotorque has carried out 25 RX8 conversions in total and 15+ Rx7.

The concept for the Hilux came about when James was looking for a cool new project to take on. The prerequisites were that it had to be retro, reasonably practical, be able to accept a couple of mountain bikes chucked in the back, and yet remain fun to drive and have the ability to easilty upgrade with MX-5 parts. Essentially, the plan was to re shell an MX-5 into the truck. Please see the bottom of this post for the build videos.

This car was owned by Craig, owner of Dynotorque and went through a few revisions starting with a rover V8 and ended up with a 1000hp+ Twin turbo LS3. This car has been featured in many publications including speed hunters.
This car start life a stock AE86 owned by Phil Morrison, Co owner of Driftworks. The car has gone through many iterations to get it to the standard it’s in now.
